Samantha really has me stumped. I want to say pullet but I'm really going back and forth. On one hand, the waddle and comb is really colored but on the other hand, not much different than your Sapphire Gem. The rest look like pullets.
Thanks, yes! “She’s” stumping me. Usually I think I’m ok at guessing genders... but it’s so red, and big, but doesn’t seem as big and red as other cockerels of the same age... and the comb still seems pulletish.

Does Samantha have noticeably thicker legs than the other pullets? That can sometimes be an indicator of cockerel. It's not perfect because you can have outliers either way but it can help.

I don’t really notice much of a difference... maybe a little thicker?

I think a Sam. I have had a couple over the years that have stumped me too. You may have to wait until you either hear a crow or get an egg. It also appears it could be a female, but still has some growing to do and some are late bloomers. Good luck and have fun...
