Hi,I read that Hugh EE thread till My eyes hurt I did get though it all, Please Help here I ot these three chciks for my Kids because of the egg color, Please tell me they are hens. Ill break this up in to a few posts due to the amount of Pic's Each post will have a diffrent chick. Thanks

P.S there right around 8 Wks may be a little bit younger.

This one will Contain Chick 1. This one has the Reddest Comb area and biggest tail feathers, The Comb is pretty flat to the head there isn't much of a raised area.

I say all three are pullets...I look at the color of the chicken on EE's the more dull colors such as blacks, browns, grays, and whites are usually pullets...but the more bright colors on EE's like reds orange, and greens are usually roos...so I say all three of your are pullets

do you have pics of when they were little...like when they still had their down feathers? I would love to see what they looked like as babys.
 
2 (the reddish toned) looks rooish to me. It has break through spotting (hard to see on an already red bird) of deeper rusty red in the shoulders.

The other two I would like clear comb shots since those are a bit blurry. Same for a side profile of each just standing. EE Roos, have a very definetly three row pea comb, they appear red sooner, and show break through shoulder coloring quite often. Pointy saddle and hackle feathers are also a dead give away. Sometimes it takes sliding a folded piece of white printer paper under the feathers to see if they are round or pointy.
