8 wk old EE Pic's theres a Bunch please help Sex. I read that Huge EE thread, still not sure.

Chick 2 The Red/brown appears to be the same all over the neck is a lighter brown, this chick is the calmest of them all. but it maybe handled more not sure. The feathers seem to be the roundest.

Chick 3 I don't notice any real brown or red coming though the white is a little brownish, the tail may have a touch of green tint in spots to it, not 100 % size of body and legs similar to the brown one.

These are all beautiful chickens. Love the pictures everyone is sharing!! I'm new to chickens (3/12) and thought EE came in one color!! I learn so much from u all on here, thank you!!!!! :;)

OK, I think these 2 pics are showing that this one is a boy. On the first pic I've quoted, do you see the thin pointy little feathers growing at the base of his tail? There aren't very many, and they're very small, but I can see them in that pic. They are skinny and pointy, do you see them? Only roosters get those, they are called saddle feathers. On the tail, those long thinner pointy curving feathers look like the start of sickle feathers to me.

For the others, if you could get a better pic of the feathers on their necks and on their backs where the back meets the tail, but from the side, those would be very helpful. That's where the hackle and saddle feathers appear. The wings don't mean anything, boys and girls will have the same wing feathers, it's the color where the wings meet the body and at the big joint there, the wing bow, that tend to show bright red in boys. :) I hope this is helping you. I really hope I'm wrong, but the only 1 I think might be a girl is the white one.

I think the tail photo you linked to was from the bird with the most white think chick number 1, I think I made a posting error. I don't see the tail feathers you guys are talking about I am trying to learn and thank everyone for there help. Most post I read people are pretty much all on the same page this one people don't seem to be 100 % sure. Please keep the debate going and Ill try and get more pic's, I am on Nights this weekend so I may not be able to post them in till tom night or on monday.

Umm, the owner two those two chicks already said in the post they're cockerels, and, they're quite obviously cockerels too. The poster was using the photos for reference.

I say to the OP, looks like you have all pullets except the mostly reddish one is still on the fence, but likely a pullet. Pics of tail and wings don't help honestly, but pics of the back will greatly help. The thing to do is look for feathers on the back (hips, between wings) and on the arm part of the wings that may be pointed, glossy, or toothy in appearance and almost always darker in color than surrounding normal feathers.
