I have an approximately 8 week old game hen that has injured its hock joint I believe? The leg turns outwards slightly and the chicken is limping. It was recently moved outdoors to its own grow out pen with its one broodmate. They are very attached to each other and become inconsolable when separated. There is a small scratch below the injured joint like it got caught on something. Our only local vet is pushing people out until April. I thought maybe this was a slipped tendon and tried to massage and push back into place but am newer to chicken care and I was unsuccessful. I also tried to splint but am unsure the best way to splint and it also picked off the vet wrap in very little time. The toe furthest from the body sometimes curls under when it is walking. Both poults have been brought indoors in carriers because they will not stop crying without the other. Please advise. How do I help this baby? It still has use of it's leg but I would like to help it before it gets any worse

Welcome To BYC

Sorry to hear about your pullet.
If vet care is not an option, then I'd consider wrapping and stabilizing the leg. I do see a couple of places where the skin is torn a little like she got hung in something.
Monitor wrappings that they don't get too tight and cut off circulation.

I like to use sports wrap/coban/vet wrap when wrapping a leg. Have some scissors (first aid scissors) to cut the wrappings off instead of trying to pull and unwind them.

Here's a splinting manual that you may find helpful.
