It’s a work in progress. Gotta forage for some more pallet, but the exterior is lined in HWC where it Is open still.Nice job!
I got most of mine from a food bank. Maybe you could get some from one of those?(the blue ones)Our county trashes them if no one picks them up .I've run out of projects and I'm almost out of pallets.LOL Once I finish this run I've got to finish the pallet fence I started that connects to the run. Its about 40 ft long. It’s a work in progress. Gotta forage for some more pallet, but the exterior is lined in HWC where it Is open still.
Take some pics from way back too, to capture the whole thing from all sides. This end of the run connects to a raised coop and enclosed run made a couple months ago.
My lots too small to get "way back" for a shot but I'll try! The run is connected to a pallet fence I hope to finish soon . The "rafters" are 2 x 4's spaced 12 " on center to help support a snow load ( barely noticeable that this is a structure from the road since I do live on a hill).I'd like the run to appear to be part of the same pallet fence its connected to and nothing more .Adding lattice changed its looks dramatically so I may have to remove it.Take some pics from way back too, to capture the whole thing from all sides.
I gotta good line on some sturdy pallet, but my I need to fix the radiator in the pick-up!I got most of mine from a food bank. Thanks for sharing - not only the whole project is awesome, it's also inspiring! I was driving this morning passing by a worker who was pushing an empty pallet with a hand truck - I almost stopped to ask if I could have it. Now I wish I did ask!!!This is a photo of what the run actually looked like after I white washed it and before I added the hardware cloth to the bottom(the top was done here) Unfortunately during the night a thunderstorm came and it really was a down pour.It washed most of the white wash off that I had painted that day (it takes about 3 days for the final color to set)
