8 x 16 Pallet chicken run.

:wee The pallet on the left is now my clean out door .Still working on it as the grounds slopes bad here but it needs to keep predators out or the runs useless. It shuts too tight and needs fill dirt brought in or maybe concrete laid under it.

It’s a work in progress. Gotta forage for some more pallet, but the exterior is lined in HWC where it Is open still.
I got most of mine from a food bank. Maybe you could get some from one of those?(the blue ones)Our county trashes them if no one picks them up .I've run out of projects and I'm almost out of pallets.LOL Once I finish this run I've got to finish the pallet fence I started that connects to the run. Its about 40 ft long.

I ordered 10 Dominique pullets from Purely Poultry and kept 6 .Out of these I've recently noticed some are growing tail feathers and bright red combs .Thick legs too but no crowing. They're 18 weeks old now. I have one that I'm not sure what it is. Maybe a barred rock or maybe a Dominique with the rare single comb? It doesn't have the same long tail feathers as the other ones. Here is a picture of it.

Take some pics from way back too, to capture the whole thing from all sides.
My lots too small to get "way back" for a shot but I'll try! The run is connected to a pallet fence I hope to finish soon . The "rafters" are 2 x 4's spaced 12 " on center to help support a snow load ( barely noticeable that this is a structure from the road since I do live on a hill).I'd like the run to appear to be part of the same pallet fence its connected to and nothing more .Adding lattice changed its looks dramatically so I may have to remove it.

I gotta good line on some sturdy pallet, but my I need to fix the radiator in the pick-up!

This is a photo of what the run actually looked like after I white washed it and before I added the hardware cloth to the bottom(the top was done here) Unfortunately during the night a thunderstorm came and it really was a down pour.It washed most of the white wash off that I had painted that day (it takes about 3 days for the final color to set)
Thanks for sharing - not only the whole project is awesome, it's also inspiring! I was driving this morning passing by a worker who was pushing an empty pallet with a hand truck - I almost stopped to ask if I could have it. Now I wish I did ask!!!

You'll often find pallets stacked near dumpsters in industrial areas.

Our local blacksmith shop puts their extra-sturdy pallets out by the road in a convenient spot where it's easy to pull off and pick them up.
