The chooks enjoy basking in the sun on the roosts in the run. The tarp allows bright light. All 6 hens are laying good as we're approach the middle of winter(Dec) I got 6 eggs today.

The chicken tunnels will go straight out 10 ft and 40 ft in the opposite direction.

45 degree angles make a stronger pallet fence.

My chooks love their privacy .It provides them with the kind of protection they need from the coyotes and bob cats. Calm bird lay better..

I use cinder blocks for bordering, too. I scored a bunch 2 years ago at the end of walmart's gardening season.
