Fluffy is my 8 year Brahma that we hatched from an egg. She is certainly not a young chick anymore
My daughter calls Fluffy her therapy chicken, as when she is sad or stressed, she just holds Fluff for a while to feel better. Fluff is a sweet soul, loves to be held .
She hasn't been laying for a couple of months. She doesn't get picked on at all that we see by the flock. She was one at the top of the pecking order in the big chicken coop. She seemed slightly lethargic the past couple of weeks (sleeping more) but is eating & drinking. She has lost a lot of feathers all over in the past 2 days. She feels significantly thinner compared to just a couple days ago. No mites. No lice. No sign of injury or a wound that I can see. Her comb looks like a normal color. We moved her to our recouping coop in the garage today. Vet is coming tonight. I just worry she is old & it is the sign of sad things to come
We could just use some positive energy & thoughts. She really is one of the best chickens ever.
