I thought of it, and I watched Footloose the other day. I thought for sure those would be brought up.

OMG Footloose, how could I have forgotten that one.

1968, but it was played on the radio while I was growing up. I remember my mom 'dancing/stretching' to it. I thought the song was about skipping a rope.

Did anyone else love the Goonies, Tremors, or Gremlins?

I did!

Maybe one of those was in the 70's though..

I 'stole', er, borrowed a cassette from my mom years ago that had this song on it. I wore out that song, literally. The part where it gets all sad sounding, I'd rewind it over and over and commiserate with Lacy and the cassette didn't like it.

I was youtubing this song too a while ago!

What is the song about a wooden indian that falls in love with an indian maiden but can't move???? Anyone?

Only Goonies, didn't watch the other two. Saw Goonies in an underground movie theater in Crystal City by D.C. We were delighted!

All of them. I remember the Friday the 13th and Halloween movies too.

Jennifer Grey is so hot. I don't care how big everyone said her nose was. It made her very unique.

When Swayze died there was a thread on Sufficient Self about him. We ended up talking about Farris Bueller's Day Off, (w/ Grey & Charlie Sheen), then Ghost, then Red Dawn (w/ all three). Red Dawn is one of my all time favorite movies ever, love it.
