Looky what we got today, and it's still snowing! Started out windy, then real windy, then all of a sudden hard hard wind! Looked out to see what the chickens were doing. They just laid down..then, the ice came..they didn't know what to do. My husband and I put on our jackets and went out to shoo them into the run. They scooted right under the coop pretty quick. It snowed all day, and now it looks like we are in for it off and on through the night, and tomorrow. We need it..not complaining too much. Didn't go anywhere today. Heard sirens going up the canyon. Always scary. We live off the old canyon road from Highway 6. Google Highway 6 in Utah as one of the worst accident areas in the state. I love our apple tree in the front..in the winter and the spring.

Beautiful! Glad your flock is safe and sheltered! Around Christmastime, I miss the snow!

In '99 we didn't have snow and we took a pic on the deck in our t-shirts.

I could live without the snow and the cold now...lol.

I didn't realize you live in Utah, I thought I was the only one in this general area! Lol I was reading your post thinking, "That is like the weather we have been having". Well, no wonder! We are in SE Idaho, near the Utah border, in Malad. :-D Nice pictures!

Hey, we are close by. Had a daughter and son live in Logan, the Hyrum. Beautiful up that way. Been in Idaho, just outside of Logan area..and then, another way, we went to Boise.

It really is beautiful up here, I am taking pictures constantly... I am sure people on Facebook are tired of them! Lol. I lived in Boise for many years, mostly in my youth and near there in my early 20s.

Had a day of no sleep last night grocery shopping today
ticked my girls off they where picking on this EE I have kicked one clean across the coop
bruised my backside lifting my lef that fast fell over backwards bruised the elbow

James went in the sewing room looking at eggs with me tonight most have lots of life a couple leave them to see
actually dropped my light on on one of the eggs

it does have lots of veining hopefully it will make it did not
break the membrane if nothing else I have strong membranes on my girls eggs

Lol! Yep, that is Malad from the Freeway facing West! :-D I live 5 miles out in that direction. Yes, nothing beats living in the mountains!

I candled again tonight...Day 7. *sigh* I thought for sure I would see something and know for sure by now, but I couldn't see ANYTHING in ANY of my eggs. I THOUGHT I saw lots of stuff, but I'm not sure if I'm just making it up in my head or if it's really there. Or, if they're all infertile. I'm so sad! I'll post pics in a sec...
