Good Luck!

The power is finally back on. The generator ran out of gas so I had to put the bator back in the oven. The entire area had no power so the gas station couldn't pump any gas anyway. We had some temp swings from 88°-104°. Hopefully there was no damage done. I'll be candling tonight, just to check on them.

I am hoping for the best!

Good luck, thinking they will be good. :) No need for the 104..the 88 will be alright this late in the incubation.

OK, I just did a candle. After this crazy day, I needed to check and see what was going on. Looks like I have 1 external pip and MAYBE 1 internal pip. The rest, I couldn't tell anything at all. I know it's a bit late to see any movement unless they've pipped but I still have some hope. Hubby may not be happy about this, but the incubator is staying in the kitchen now until this hatch is over. I rolled the eggs earlier just getting them out here to stay warm, I'm not risking rolling them now when they may be starting to hatch!

Thanks for the update!

You will have some hatch if you see a pip

I don't candle except about day 14 to make sure something is growing. Mostly because I can see little or nothing inside the eggs. I certainly don't look at air cell size. I don't even own a hygrometer. I do have a gram scale so I weigh eggs instead, I put a little water in when I set and again halfway through. when I weigh again. I weighed last night and they are supposed to have lost 10% of their weight. They were all spot on. So I didn't have to fret about humidity % or draw circles on eggs.
If the weights are low, I add water. If they're high, I let it dry out.
This is the way I've been doing it for a long time.
