My friend gave me her chicks and incubator to watch while she's on vacation. She said I can put more eggs in the incubator. This is an opportunity lol.

Well... I also have mille fluer and golden neck d'Uccles. Seramas, and Bantam EEs. I have others, but that's who's laying right now, although slowly....

What do golden neck d'Uccles look like?

I think I am going to get some Trader Joes eggs! I know, you may ask, why are you so excited? Because. They will cost less, and they won't have to fly here. Have a son, that will be picking some up for me. They have a Trader Joe's place nearer to them than me..and..it's an excuse for us to see each other. Now, I'm just hoping that these eggs are fertile. Told him the cartons should be marked..fertile. Hope this works..maybe I should get three doz.

Well I got a pullet egg in that pen yesterday! Guess I need to watch some chicken porn again refresh my memory on how to AI. The boy in that area doesn't like to be handled so this is either going to make him like me better or set him over the edge!!!!! lol lol lol

If anyone is interested, I posted a dozen 1st import Silverudd's Blue hatching eggs on the https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/754060/the-new-crazy-24hr-auction-thread

This is the first time I have offered them in this type venue. I can ship them Monday evening, so you would have plenty of time before the set date . The auction runs until 3:00 CST Monday.
