I just pulled out 10 fluffy dry babies. So, cute, but no photos yet - they don't want to come out from under the heat plate.
Had one that has been starting to zip for about an hour and was getting quiet. I chipped away quite a bit of it's zip line, and moistened the membrane. That's the most I'll do to help. There was 1 more pipped, and I think 2 more no activity, and they were the 2 that I thought looked a bit wonky when I locked down. I didn't think to take out any shells, so there might be a couple more that I didn't see. I forget how many actually made it into lockdown.
I will start to get photos once they venture out from under the heat plate.
For the babies with insides exposed, I have never had one survive. I think it's better to cull it than it is to let it suffer. Sorry!!!!
