Any updates? Here's my feathered kids!
I moved the bigger chicks to a crib brooder. The dec 27 hatches and some nyh.
I believe most are boys, which is why the drastic size difference! I moved my jan 13 hatches with the smallest nyh to make room in my newborn brooder for some chicks I ordered from Ideal.

Very nice! That is encouraging, too, as I ordered from Ideal for the first time, and I am a bit nervous. It's so cold and the order is small. I did order a couple of Roos, then I learned they may use roos as packing peanuts. Yikes! Hope that doesn't happen as my butcherer may not be up and running until May or later. Did you get "packing peanuts with your order, and how big was your order?"

yes lots of packing peanuts, though a few of my packing peanuts ended up being pullets
