8'x4'x4' Coop for 4 Large Brahmas

Hi,


I recently built a 10'4"x10'4" deck and placed a 10'x10'x6' dog kennel/cage on top of it. Built (half way finished) a coop that's 8'x4'3"x4' with the floor 3'8" off the ground. is the floor too high for large Brahmas to get into even with a ramp?

You could make some chicken stairs instead of a ramp. Otherwise start the ramp 8"-12" off the ground to get a shallow angle.

I love the looks of light brahmas....but found their feed to egg ratio to be pricey.
Did you raise these from chicks?
She's not taken to a nest for her broodiness?
