9 eggs 8 hens?

is that possible, i seperated them with my roo so there are no otherhens in that coop. IS my roo a hen? i know these eggs arent from yesterday too, because i've been checking about every hour.....
oh if this helps.
there are:
2 white leghorns
1 brown leghorn
1 australope (sp)
1 black hen (looks like a leghorn)
1 red star
2 speckled hamburgs
and bubbles the roo, hes a white polish

he tries to crow lol, lets see i got them on july 7. he has the long feathers on his back and shows every sign of being a roo, exept the last pic.another worry of mine is when i tried to pic him up last time he squatted like a hen?

the other roo got a hold of him so some of his feathers on his head are missing.

Wow...I'm no expert and definately not even a novice when it comes to Polish. Hopefully someone with Polish expertise can give you a more definitive answer.

The squatting thing makes me really wonder though - that sounds awfully hen-nish to me...
 
It ia roo. They will squat if you surprise them. I have one that does that and he also will run and hide his head in the rocks if he sees me coming to get him.
 
My barred rock laid 3 eggs in 3 hours, sort of. She laid 2 that were stuck together in the middle but had no shell, then a little later a regular egg. Huh.
 
That's a roo. He could be squatting for you because you're the head roo! Looks like he's just chillin' with the ladies while they take care of business... something a good roo does!
