BYC is still growing like crazy! With almost 150,000 members posting and asking questions and answering questions and making new friends, it's hard to imagine just how many posts there are.

In an effort to celebrate with everyone we are starting a new contest to guess when we will reach 9 million posts!



Be the closest to guess the DATE & HOUR (Eastern Standard Time) when we'll hit 9,000,000 posts and win one of three prizes:

1. The closest guess will receive a 1 year GFM for themselves or a friend.
2. The second and third closest guesses will each get a free 6 month GFM for themselves or a friend.

We'll be accepting guesses until the end of day Monday, 7/23/2012.

How To Enter:
Simply reply to this thread with your guess. Your reply MUST be in this format: Month/Day/Year Hour... kinda like this:

or
11/17/2012 6:00 pm

Rules:

1. The closest guess to the actual date/hour (either before or after) wins.
2. You can only enter the contest with ONE GUESS ENTRY!
3. If you want to lock in a specific day/hour, post it before anybody else.
4. You can change your guess to a different day/hour IF IT IS NOT TAKEN but if you choose another day you allow someone else to take your previous guess.
5. You can change your guess as many times as you want until the end of the contest time above!
6. To change your guess: Edit your guess post before the end of the contest
7. All guesses must be on the HOUR (i.e., NO MINUTES). If you entered minutes into your guess your guess will be rounded up or down to the closest hour.
8. Most important: HAVE LOTS OF FUN!

linda_zeagler31002 guessed 8/9/12 at 1:00 AM, just over 10 hours before the time we hit.

ItsAZOO32 guessed 8/9/12 at 11:30 PM, just over 11 hours after we hit 9 million.
