9 month old Buff Orpingron not laying eggs

Here is a pic of her I snapped today.

She looks 'red'dy.....check her vent and pelvic bones.

I'd guess she's laying also, and is doing somewhere besides your nestboxes. It can sometimes be hard to find nests. I've had them right in front of my face, and I couldn't see them.

Just a thought, but how do you know she isn't laying? I'd be hard pressed to know which of my girls were laying, unless it was one that laid a totally different egg color.

I have caught the other two hens several times laying in the nesting box. This one never goes in the nesting box. Its not exact science but we only get two eggs a day out of three hens.

I watched that video and was shocked that the man could get 4 of his rather large fingers between the bare butted bird’s pelvic bones. Really? Four? Wow!
