9 month old PBB molting already?

My dad says, when the sun hits the Retina of the eye it causes them to lay the egg. That’s why there are less on cloudy days

Interestingly enough the light can hit them anywhere on the skull, then the pineal gland picks it up sending it to pituitary and hypothalamus which stimulates release of LH and FSH which play role in sex hormones and egg production.

So they can be stimulated even with eyes closed which is pretty neat.
