9 month old tough?

I have a 8 1/2 - 9 month old hen I'm thinking of eating. At this age, will the meat be tough, or can I still grill it or bake it?

It will be tough. Crock pot or soup would be better options.

Try a forum search for threads/posts about cooking older birds. This topic pretty much comes up daily, there are lots of threads on this.
