We don't have the hearts to butcher any of our beautiful guys, and so far, they get along 20190916_145213.jpg 20190916_145200.jpg
 
But they are more birds to feed and give nothing back, if you aren't using them for breeding/ for the table. Someone else might have a need for a flock rooster.
 
Most roosters will develop a pecking order amongst themselves. I don't see any real fighting with most as long as they aren't confined and they can run away if necessary from each other.


I have 5 cockerels and 4 pullets and 1hen
I have had to rehome roos in the past

But these ones are getting along fine they are no worse with the pecking order than the ladies are
And they are all going through puberty
So I hope it stays this mellow

Thank you. They are handsome. So far, only the rooster we have had problems with in the past is causing issues.
