A friend bought Ameraucana hatching eggs from Sunnyside up Micro Farm. Two of the chicks that hatched she gave to me. She thought they were 1 pullet and 1 roo since one is larger and has a pinker comb. Both birds still have completely flat combs though and while these are my first Am chicks, I've raised lots of EEs- and roos usally start developing their "pea" rows fairly quickly. Could they both be pullets?

9 weeks? I'd say pullets on both. The pink color isn't that significant, especially given the lack of actual comb growth/development

They will be 10 weeks on Thursday. That's what has me stumped..no bumps. At this point I was expecting to see some!
