9 week old Barnevelder

Hi all - I have two 9 week old Barnevelders. Both have smaller combs. One has more lace pattern than the other. Thoughts on pullet vs roo? I have two pictures of each.

Both look like pullets. Coloring can be variable, and often it changes after molting into adult plumage.
