So what I’m wondering is what breeds went into the making of my red and black sex links. The reds were listed as “cinnamon queen”. The two blacks look nothing alike now and the two reds have different cone types. Also is it just me or are my reds cones awfully red? All are supposed to be pullets but that has me somewhat confused. First pics will be the red sex links, 2nd will be black ..starting with the one that’s actually black (and looks kinda like a crow…lol)

“Cinnamon queen” red sex links are sometimes a wyandotte x Rhode Island red cross, resulting in chicks that look different than the typical red sex link.

Thank you for replying!! Is it normal for these girls to have such bright pink cones& waddles already coming in? I’m assuming that being created to be egg laying machines they mature early?

Your cinnamon queens look just like the one I have. As for the black sex links, I have always seen them with varying amounts of the copper color on them. I think they are gorgeous birds. The different comb types confuse me too. I see two birds of the same exact breed all the time but they have different combs. Ive seen Barred rocks with single combs and also with pea combs??? Its got me stumped.
