My roolet (who knows, rooster/pullet) looks like that too. I've thought she/he was a roo from the day I took her/him out of the box at two days old. It was just the way he/she stood, all regal and "I'm the top dog" kinda stance.
However, if he/she is a roo, why does he/she stand down to my obvious SHE Orpington? Actually, he/she stands down to a couple of the bantams too! What does it mean when they come up to each other and fluff their capes and then both step away? Wouldn't a roo show his stuff and tell the hens what's up?
