i have two Nine week old pullets that I hatched. Over the last 2.5 weeks I have been transitioning them outside and beginning to integrate them with my two hens (their moms). They have their own little coop next to the main coop with adjacent runs. The Littles are doing well, have heated water and a heating pad that is connected to a Thermo cube. So far, so good. They are active, eating, drinking, and seem to have adapted well.

But I’m very worried about these temps below zero over the next two days and am considering putting them back in the garage until it warms up. Please share your thoughts. Move them in? Leave them out? They have been inside the coop a lot today on the heating pad. Thanks and Happy New Uear!

As long as they are already used to the outdoor temps, and they've got shelter to protect them from wind/rain/snow, they will be just fine.
I had 5-week-olds out without heat when a cold snap hit. Got down into the teens (a 30 degree drop in 12 hours), and they were happy as could be.

Good because my other half says they will be fine with the heating pad and we will check for any drafty areas....
