I’ve learned so much lurking on this site, I’m hoping I haven’t worn out my welcome with my questions! So very thankful for your kind advice here, and generous sharing of knowledge.

P.S., Power bill was almost $400... how cold of a night could these girls handle without heat lamp? Rookie question, I know.

I just put my 8 week old Wyandotte’s barred rocks, buff Orpingtons, and Silkie outside in coop with no heat and nights are in upper 20s. They are doing great. I don’t think you need to worry about how cold it is.
