My dear hubby has a generator on his list already....but firewood is another must

They're good to have. We bought a small one after the last hurricane. We were without power for 6 days.

TOtally understandable i am glad it was not off for long. I have a double whammy here as we keep tropical birds(parrots, budgies) so i have a problem even if i am not brooding chicks/ducklings.. ugh.

A generator is a good idea as is some backup wood. We have a generator and even have one on the smaller tractor lol
