Brooder help

Yes it’s ok that they see each other, good even. It helps them get used to each other with a barrier so no one gets hurt.

Whenever I have babies I have a little fence I can keep them in while my adults free range. Everyone can get to know each other without any brawls.
Okay I set them up in half of the duck house. I added a wall of hardware cloth and some hemp bedding I had on hand (they keep eating it 😬). I also added some scrap wood for a solid surface to put the heating pad on and covered that with a plastic tub with a hole cut in it (and weighed that down with a piece of 4x4). Then I added their food and water.

Thoughts?

Looks good! Do You have an idea of what the temps are in there?

Oh no, but I have few thermometers I can put in there. What are the goal temps?
Honestly I don’t know 🤣 but I would think if you’re in the 70s range that’s probably good. But like I said I don’t know for sure. You could do some googling or maybe ask in a new thread cause no one else seems to be chiming in here.
