that is wonderful that you know who's who's.. I've got a batch in my incubator right now in the process of hatching, I'm not sure, but then my flock is large, about the only thing I'll know is whether it's out of my naked neck pen or out of my main flock and they are a mixed bunch. I'm sure that you will get some to hatch, some of the others had good recommendations on wrapping it in towels to help bring up the temps.. keep us posted.. remember a 50% hatch rate is a good hatch rate, a lot of the time's people myself included get less.. my big incubator that I have hatching right now has been giving me fits. It holds 24 and the last hatch I got 5 out of them, sad part is, they all looked good at day 14.. I've not figured out what went wrong. It's even more interesting because I know which hen laid which egg so for every chick will know whose their mama ..If they ever hatch![]()
Their beautiful, I love Emerson's colors, My Charlie is white, I have two black NN's, 3 Gold/Red NN's, should be 4 but one decided to escape to the main flock and I haven't put her back yet, along with two white NN's that I've nicknamed the wingettes. lol.. Jill in the NN coop is a breese mix..I have small flock all hens lay different colored eggs.. And necked neck rooster lord Emerson.. This is my favourite pair Lord Emerson and Princess PUMPKIN.. she lay dialy and it surprised me because she is dual purpose breed. I have 5 her eggs in incubator. And good luck with your![]()
