I finally had to help, pieces of shell & inner membrane was stuck to them. They are still working on getting out. Nothing like subzero weather. It is so dry! Hope they make it! They chirped at me. I'll be weighing & measuring next time, and getting a hatch cam setup!

4th generation cross breed. This is Sunny. Short for Sunflower. We have several of them now. They sold like hotcakes last season too. We have about 7 we kept. Sunny was one of the first. This is a photo from August.. only one handy. She is huge and plump now. Total free/R birds. She is happy living in a tree.
I'll try to post a newer photo.. They are beautiful birds and a very reliable egg layer..

I think she was 4 months old in pix or less.. Adolescent. Not fully developed yet. I will try to take a new pic. That is the only pix I have on my phone. There are slight variations in the chickens color wise. She is Ferrel but tame.. she will eat from my hand.

CCL baby (I'm assuming cockerel) top right and serama baby, middle left, in front of the older serama chick lol.

The two new serama babies are at the bottom and the silkie cross is in the middle.

Still waiting for more babies. 4 hatched, 23 more eggs still in the hatcher, at least 10 of which are pipped

that makes sense I have a couple that look the same is why I asked on recently had to be put down I still had the barred rock and they pecked her so bad she was done for

One baby on top of her. Some under. Others all around. Lol
