I think you should just turn the kids loose with some dough, decorations and icing and tell them to make bird cookies! (Of course, I'm not the one that would have to clean up after them, so easy for me to say, right?)

Just a heads up...December 4th is National Cookie Day!

I just saved a couple of new cookie recipes form the American test kitchen. Crinkle cookies and lemon iced cookies.

I will probably try them out this weekend

Haha I wouldn't mind the clean up... just don't think there would be any left to take a picture of... between the toddler and the man child they would eat it all!! And I might help just a little...

My problem is if I bake them on the 1st, they're gone by the 4th

I'm only baking on the 1st because of a cookie exchange at church on the 2nd lol. I will, without a doubt, have to bake more, much closer to Christmas to make sure that Santa will have some haha.
