9wk Shetland Hens: male or female?

Hi Capt. Have you gotten any birds or eggs from Cluck it All farms?
I've done a bit of reading (there's not much out there on them) and it seems they all originated out of Greenfire but IDK for sure. On a side note, I got some C. Legbar's from Greenfire and they are some beauties. Tappits are HUGE...big bouffants! So even if I can't ever raise Shetland's properly, I got my big bouffants at home.
Hi there - yes, the Shetlands all originated from Greenfire, as they are the only documented importer of the breed. Cluck it All Farms did get hers from GFF early on. Most of her flock are black variations. If you are still looking for them, I have a pretty substantial flock and they have been very hardy for me. I have one or two of each color. I can do eggs or do have some chicks hatching come Nov 1 - I have a few in the incubator as I like to keep an eye on fertility. Here’s some of my flock

Those are very lovely ladies, beauties! So awesome to hear that you've been successful with this breed. I'm preparing for winter now and have a large, young group of Cream Legbar, Bielefelder and 55 Flowery hens that are taking up most of my time, however I'll be ready for Shetland's once springtime comes around.

None from Cluck it All Farms directly that I know about, but all have lineage to Greenfire.

I’m very interested in buying a few Shetland hen hatching eggs—I have a very determined Silkie. Do you ship eggs year-round? Obviously this week will be difficult to do much with Christmas, but afterwards?

Hi there, yes, I do as long as the temperatures are cooperative. The Shetland are still laying on so I could definitely ship you some if you want to send me a direct message?
I have a very annoyingly determined Cemani myself lol… but it’s too cold here to let her sit on eggs 🤣
