A 2week old baby chcick question??? Help!!!

I bought new chicks a week 1/2 ago. I have this one that is not growing in size at all developing feathers though and eating in drinking. The laast few hours he has been shaking really bad. The others ones don't seem cold at all. What do I do???

Well, cup it in your hands and hold it closer to the heat source. See if it calms down. I don't know anything about shaking chickens though.

I had a chick who loved it when I would wrap her in a wash cloth that I heated for a few minutes in the dryer and hold her. She would just sing away or sleep. Maybe someone else has ideas!

You could try wormer and vitamins. Good luck! Had one similar last year. The wormer made a big difference in her.

Are your chicks being raised by a broody hen, or do you have them inside in a brooder? If they haven't been outside yet I don't believe that worms are the issue. Unnecessarily medicating an already weakened chick may have a negative effect on her.
