Yes to both questons. We kept updated in the original story thread. I ended up hatching out 5, and there are stories and lots of pictures on the chicken story thread. ( In fact I added a few movies today).
Skand also hatched out 5, but because of her moving WriterofWords now has the babies. I have 2 definate roosters, 1 has the size and personltiy of his dad. The other, Hmm I dunno LOL. There is at least 1 rooster in skands hatch

The black spots are the brahma/popcorn mix... and the chipmunks, keep an eye out fer em, might be game, yes some games have green feet (they are called hatch, which we've been told is a good thing, I dunno.. lol) If they are game, if they are hens, they can get along with reg chickens, they go broody easier then regular hens... but tend to have a higher tendency to be gripey towards others.. They could also very well be EE's but without the muffs..

They are getting big wing feathers already. Here is the chipmonk one , who has a greenish tint to his legs also, but very light tint

Tiny green legged baby who came from a white egg, so I dont think he's an EE.

They are little stinkers. But the good thing is, they have nice little poops, not all runny and stinky like the BLR kids ( who, by the way, have already learned that Mamma D = treats)

awwwww, such cute toots!
Was it a creamy egg? Cause one of our EE's started to lose color on her eggs, and started going creamy. Funniest thing too, it started minty green then ended creamy ivory.

Might also be black astrolorp mix...hehehe

Well, if it was creamy, it was very light creamy. Oh, I didnt know you had an austrolorp.. I like them!!! I think we'll figure out when she gets older.. ( maybe lol) shes totally cute, and so much smaller than the others. She and the chipkmonky one are both getting teeny tiny tail feathers. Its sooo cute!

Have you come up with any names for them yet? Or are they all going with ... chick chick, tiny, cutey patootey, chip, dale, donald, daisy? lol

No names yet- they aren't showing any distinct personalities. When I try to play with them, they run screaming and hide. When I take them out of the brooder to play on the floor, they run screaming and hide. The chipmunk one has even calmed down a little, but I still call her the bully. The little tiny blackish/brownish green-legged one will probably be named teeny bird.. because its middle toe is very noticable because they are yellow, not greenish like the others.

Is hubby at least happy with one buff orp? lol Tell him I'll get him some more soon... that is, as soon as our few start gettin busy on the farm. lol
I think one of the white ones should be Poppy J. hehehehe Make sure it's one that will need a magic purple spoon! lol

LOL Poppy J.. but the white rooster is one of BLR's kids.. I'm starting to suspect one of the ladies had an affair.
The little texans, who knows what color they will turn out to be. Although one is getting white wing feathers. I should post the updated pics of the teeny tiny tail feathers.
hubby can pretend he doesnt want mutts, but we were shopping for a shed, and he saw this cute playhouse that he said would be really cool for the chickens- and tried to talk me into buying that instead of a shed for him.
