A ? about cells phone w/mobile web access, i.e., getting on BYC

Ohh! Wait! I have an idea.... You could go to Rent-a-center or somewhere similar.. and rent a laptop for the 2 weeks for a lot less. Then you'll have all the advantages of a large screen, full keyboard, ect. The only thing would be the internet.. are you staying somewhere they would have the doo daa connection? Or maybe the rent-a places have one of those 3g or whatnot cardie things you can get on from anywhere.... its an idea!

USB modem for the laptop. that's what I was trying to think of. wireless internet where ever your cell phone gets coverage. pre pay with no contract. works great for sporadic use

Terrible web connection, can't even find the screen, but it's yellow

I'd be more than happy to lend it to you, for your trip. with a really long cord it might be just the thing.

Gritsar, I have a Net10 prepaid, and my phone doesnt have the memory capacity to load BYC. BYC is such a big website/forum, and it takes a lot of memory to load forums. I thought i'd let you know it probably wont load before you spent the money on a phone and an airtime card.

Have fun on your vacation!! The BYC withdrawls will be there at first but after a few days of fun they wont be as bad

I have Verizon, Prepay. My Web access is .99 per day (for 24 hours) problem is, prepays do not have a lot of the things that Smart Phones have so on mine, I can only access limited things. I can get on Facebook, but not my online banking.
You might be better off with a laptop and aircard

But again, if you can get online with your kindle, a laptop w aircard may be no better.
