Hi y'all!
I have read and used this sight to guide me in chicken raising since I started which was about 4 years ago. it definitely has been an adventure!
We currently have 6 hens, Buff Orpingtons, and are awaiting our first eggs.
We've had some in the past but free rangeing caused their demise over time.
We also have started raising meat birds and that is a TOTALLY different experience in itself!!!! We have successfully raised, slaughtered and eaten them with help from BYC and other internet tools!
I am grateful for BYC and am excited to be a member now.
