Would anyone know where I can find a drawing of how to connect a door bell to a battery. I have looked on the internet but can't find anything. Thank you so much.

Or if anyone could explain it that would be good. Maybe we can do a drawing with directions.

Here you go. Replace transformer with battery:

Rethinking that, it may not work as doorbells typically run on an AC transformer.

You may just short out your battery and see a puff of smoke come out of your doorbell...

My grandson needs to have a drawing for Boy Scouts of how you can make a door bell work using a battery. He has pink eye and I won't let him touch my computer. lol

Oh if that's it, then the drawing I provided is fine. That's all the requirement is looking for.

I thought you were actually trying to wire a standard house doorbell to a battery, which generally won't work unless the doorbell is actually designed to be run from a battery.

The drawing should work fine. Do make the mention, however, that unless the doorbell is powered by the same DC voltage as the battery the connections wont matter - it still wont work.
