I friend of mine just told me that Knoxville was trying to pass this.....I live about 90 minutes east of Knoxville in Greene county. What can we do to help this along? I would love to see this get passed......

I live deep deep in the city of Knoxville. I hope they can pass this, but Im lucky that where I live the nearest neighbor is the KUB headquarters. I have 4 RIR bantams and 2 standard RIR and have no one to complain about them.

I think more and more towns will start to allow chickens!!

I hope it passes as well. I'm just outside of the city limits, but I know that the city has been trying to annex s. knoxville for ages. The rules right now are 5 hens 500 ft away from an building... which is ridiculous when you think about. Most suburban lots are not 500 feet long, let alone being 500 feet from a house!
