A Big Hello from Central Queensland

Seeing as I'll have a mix of pullets and layers, should I also then have a mix between pullet grower and layer pellets for food? I've bought grit to provide in a separate bowl - is there anything else that I'm going to need to ensure they're happy?

They get cracked corn as a treat twice a week, as well as heaps of veggies and they free range too.

Once the new birds and young pullets are combined you could have them on grower feed as long as you provide a separate container for oyster shell. The pullets won't need layer mix till they are at point of lay - meanwhile the older hens can help themselves to the oyster shell to get the added calcium as they feel they need it.

Once all are laying you can just feed the layer mix. Congratulations on a nice group of girls.
