Hi :welcome Chris from Yorkshire UK

Glad you could join us here! What breed/s are your chickens? Does your staffie get on ok with them? Love staffie dogs! You might like to pop by the UK thread too, here is the link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/655508/uk-member-please-say-hi/0_30

Hope you can pop over. Good luck with your birds in the future. Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow

Thanks for the lovely greeting my staffie is a 5yr old ***** and has always had aggression towards other dogs and unfortunately its no different with the chickens. I have a rhode rock hybrid, a sussex hybrid, an amber star hybrid and a columbian blacktail hybrid and although i love them very much i am experiencing some difficulties as the blacktail keeps getting picked on brutally

Oh dear that's such a shame your staf does not get on with the chickens. My mothers dog is the same and she has to keep him totally seperate from her birds or he kills them.

As for your black tail can you keep her seperate but next to the others if they are picking on her really bad? Should give her chance to heal and for them to be more aquainted but without the attacking.
