Hi I’m Karen, my son Ben and I have six girls in our garden. We are about to relocate them further down the garden as they invade the kitchen every time I open the back door. It’s lovely to have them so close but I’ve shut them in my house on occasion. They are all hybrid varieties. All six are different. They get on well.

Seeing your photo, I feel lucky now that mine only come to the back door and peck on the glass when they want grapes. I have accidentally closed one between the glass and wooden doors, but they've never stampeded into the kitchen (except my house hen, but that's a long story).
