A bit of an emergency for the Two Old Fools

Gollie they are adorable. That was so cool for you to rescue the kitties. Did Momma put up a fuss when you handled her babies? Or did she just follow them

The trouble is, we already feed two feral cats, sisters, and they are both very pregnant. This is a picture of them on our windowsill. They were born in our chicken coop and spend most of their time in our garden or on the windowsill waiting to be fed.

I know exactly what CityGirlintheCountry means, I'd keep them all if I could... I'm trying to be sensible as they cope very well without us.

Britney - The mother made no fuss at all! Joe put the first kitten in the box, and she jumped straight in, then gave birth to the second. We've seen other cats approach and she growls like a tiger, but we are allowed close. I'm sure we could handle them, but we haven't.

Hello ChickyLaura,

Haha! Yep, our cemeteries don't look like that in England, either! But in Spain they often look like this, and have little photos of the deceased on them, too.

Does anyone know what the tree is? In England we usually have a yew tree in churchyards, but I don't know what this Spanish one is.

(Kittens doing well. Every time they squeak they get a good washing from Mama.)

Hello Victoria! I love the cats in the window....new book possibly???

I just lost my one cat and need more here! Mice/field rats are running us over. Most always you can find kittens in the paper or posted somewhere but not at this time. LOL I love Siamese. Oh, is it possible to post pics on here for those of us who have dial up and can't see a darned thing on YouTube?? Very frustrating when you sit there for several minutes just to get a second or two of YouTube when our service is so slow. Would appreciate it. Stay in touch my friend.

Hi Ozarkhen! Lovely to 'see' you! So sorry you lost your cat.

Lol! Yes, I think this cat story is definitely developing into a chapter for the sequel of 'Chickens'!

And I SO understand your slow dial-up connection. I thought that living up a remote Spanish mountain meant that we'd never get Broadband, but we've had it for about 3 weeks now, and it's heaven! I could never watch YouTube before, either.

So here is the cemetery:

CityGirl - Yes, they know we can't resist them... When we open the shutter in the morning, there they are, noses pressed to the window and looking pitiful...

What a sweet respite from the morning chores! The mamma kitty story is so tender. And the sisters in the window are cunning!
Thanks for posting:)

Posting so I can follow - those two in the window are adorable! Those babies look like they'll be siamese, too, they're born all white, or pale, and develop points as they mature. I hope you can take more pics as they grow up!

Thank you, bwebb7!

Hello Reinbeau,
I didn't know that about Siamese cats. The smallest one already looks like its going to have chocolatey ears and face. Anyway, I'm off to see them again now and I'll try and take another picture.
