I am torn on this decision pictures of Buffs orpington look so full and huggable. I want to make sure i get breeds that are good for each other as well, id like to get at least 2 different breeds but ultimately want them to be "happy birds" and have good companions in each other. But also a dependable egglayer during winter as these will be the tools of bribery for my jerk neighbor to the right that shares my fence. Any suggestion on which 2? I intend to get 3 hens will 2 of 1 breed give a cold shoulder to the lone differnt one?Hello and welcome! Thanks for joining us.
Good breed choices. There are some breeds that are "friendlier" then other breeds, but almost any chicks that are raised with human contact can be people friendly. Good luck!
