A Brush of Wind~A Winged Cougar Role Play

Lachlan shook his fur out calmly. "She's off with Amethyst."
~~~
Reagan grinned. "Heh, he probably does, though he would never admit it. But the reason he didn't come is father called him." She raised her head as glow moths took to the air, flicking around the eruditos. She laughed softly as one landed on her nose.
"That's fine. Just as long as you know where she is. Take care of her and watch her though. Make sure she doesn't go to the mountains. The Kensha are dangerous. They can kill you." Tavon said for the millionth time. He had always made sure Tavon took care of his younger sister. His steady joking personality helped protect the adventurous erudito. "I trust you. It's just, with that Amethyst she gets into a bit of trouble. It's an unstable combination," he said. "You can go now."
~~~
"Oh," said Amethyst. She pounced on one. "I got one!"" She cried, gently releasing it.
She started making choking sounds, though she wasn't choking. She spit bug parts out. "Eww. I ate a bug!" She said. The inside of her mouth glowed when she opened it.

Lachlan nodded, and gave a half smile. "I know, Amethyst isn't bad, but she can get Reagan in trouble. I'll keep an eye on them." He turned to go, but paused, remembering that he had forgot to report something. "I saw a Kensha Erudito walk onto our side of the border the other day. He left before I could chase him off, but, it's not normal for one of their eruditos to come to our turf."
~
Reagan laughed, smiling at her friend. "Nice new muzzle, looove the glow."
She pounced on one, catching it. "Got it." She let it go slowly.
(Should they try to cross the border and Lachlan stop them?)

"Hmm. Using even their kits to steal our prey huh?" Tavon was a bit irrational when it came to the Kensha of course. "I'll talk to some other Kentari about this. We will put this intrusion to a stop. Kensha are dangerous. No, you can't come. Your to young. Plus you need to take care of your sister." (Lachlan is going to have to convince Tavon.)
~~~
Amethyst laughed, pouncing on another moth. A little rabbitlike creature ran through the undergrowth. "A Fluffle!" She cried. "We should catch it!"
The Fluffle ran out into a forest with tall pine trees with flaky brown trunks. They grew close together so they were difficult to dodge, but there was no undergrowth on the needle covered floor, and no holes for it to dive into. Amethyst skidded over pine needles. The Fluffle was in an area where it was at a disadvantage. "Lets go!" Amethyst said.
Lachlan nodded, then blinked as Tavon brought up him being too young. "But I'm a regular." He said coolly, then paused as he brought up watching Reagan, Lachlan had always been over protective of his sister, and often found himself trailing after her to make sure she didn't get into trouble.
~
Reagan's eyes widened and she nodded. "Yeah!" She took off, and while Amethyst ran over the ground, she spread her wings and took to the air, hardly dodging the trees that grew thick.
"I don't think you know responsibility," said Tavon, though he knew Lachlan was very responsible. He just didn't want to see his son hurt, like his friend.
~~~
Amethyst took flight and nearly smacked into a tree, careening away nearly into another. Before it could fly itself, the Fluffle slowed down. She nearly dived onto it. But it got into the air and Amethyst started an aerial chase. She clawed at the air.

Lachlan stared at his father, and laid his ears back. "Then why have me watch Reagan? If I'm not responsible, how could I help?" He said, his voice strained. "I better go make sure Reagan and Amethyst are okay." With that, he turned around and regally walked out of the den.
~
Reagan beat her wings faster, soaring at Amethyst's side, snapping her jaws at the Fluffle.

Tavon nodded. He wanted for Lachlan to go, but not enough.
(Lachlan's going to feel reeeal guilty soon.)
~~~
Amethyst snapped as well, ignoring the border as they flew over it. She didn't notice it because neither of the two Eruditos had been here before.
(How spicy. I see pain in the incoming.)
Lachlan kicked off, soaring towards where he knew Reagan and Amethyst were, assuming they would stay in one spot. How could he say that? He growled in his mind, his temper pricking.
Lighting down in the area the she-kentaris should have been in, he shook his head. "Reagan! Amethyst! I'm here." No response calls greeted him. He called again, and no voices range to answer. "Guys?" He said worriedly. His eyes caught a small piece of Fluffle fur drifting. He followed their scent then realized where they were headed. "Fools!"
~
Reagan beat her wings faster, and faster. Soon the land swooped up, the trees thinned and turned to boulders.
She pushed forward a last time, and her jaws clamped down on the Fluffle's back leg, and lighted down, nodding for Amethyst to finish the job by slicing the life pumping artery.
Amethyst did. "Wh-where are we?" She said, the dead rabbit hanging from her mouth. She didn't recognize anything around her. The trees had become much sparser.
(AMARA GOES BACK IN TIME AND TRAVELS HERE)
"And what are you two Riqueos doing here on our land holding one of our rabbits?" She said suspiciously. Amethyst's eyes grew large as saucers. She dropped the Fluffle and it thudded on the ground.
