"Oh yes," replied the healer. "Down in Reagan's den. You're father fled into the woods, the darker part of them. Or perhaps you shouldn't hear that. If you're anything like you're father, you're gonna worry and do the same."

Reagan nodded. "Yeah." She said.

Lachlan rose from his haunches. "Thank you for telling and healing me." He nodded to him, and turned, trotting out and heading for his family den.
He stuck his head in, but Reagan didn't see since her head was bent down. He paused, deciding to see what they said before going in. Or, that was, until Amethyst or Reagan saw him.

Amethyst raised her head, her green eyes catching Lachlan silhouetted dimly in the den entrance by the moonlight.
"Lachlan is here!" She tugged at Reagan before embracing him because everyone knows felines can give warm hugs. Which is the equivalent to their rubbing up against you and purring. "You're alright!" She exclaimed. She saw the red marks across his back. "What did they do to you?" She asked.

"Oh, yeah. I'm just happy you're ok! Do you know where your dad is?" Asked Amethyst. "I get the notion he's kind of worried about you." (Edited cause my punctuation and spelling made absolutely no sense.)

Lachlan nodded, then stated coolly; "I was planning on doing that after checking on you two. I better be off." He stated, flicking his tail, he glanced at Reagan and Amethyst before turning and bounding into the woods, looking for his father.

Lachlan paused as the trees grew thicker, but shook himself and loped forward, following his Tavon's scent, and closing in.

Tavon wept bitterly. His hair was being torn out and his blue eyes muddy with grief. A circle in the dirt was roughly trodden on around him. As he cried, he became unaware of the world around him. Mud streaked his tawny pelt and blood had dried on him from a battle with a briar patch. He was haggard, appearing decades older than he was, a decrepit lump on the ground, dark fur sticking together, blue wings covering him. To a human, he would be barely visible in the darkness.
