please provide more information... breed age environment housing and environmental conditions etc.
What you are describing is neurological and could be due to several things incl cocci...
What you can do (wont hurt and often makes a world of difference)is to separate the chick and give three drops of POLYVISOL Enfamil in beak once a day for a week then taper off the next... ensure it drinks sufficiently and dribble some water that has electrolytes in it (durvet is a cmmon brand that many feed stores carry) along her beak... watch out for the type of waterer you use as if she is unable to control her movements very well she can fall in and be unable to get out and drown in even a very shallow waterer.

Shes about 5 weeks old, it just started happening 4 days ago...she can control her self, just sometimes her head goes down and around or just tilts.... We are raising a good many chicks in a plywood, 2X4 brooder, thay my DH made, 2 ft tall, and and I'd say its atleast, 14'X8'...with hay on the bottom...they were just moved to this, but she started doing it before we moved them....she eats and drinks fine...she is a red silkie, they are all in our basement with heatlamps on them, with food and water all the time. She is the only one to do this.

Thanks

Silkie birds are notorious for this neck thing. I think they call it whry neck (spelling). If you think you have Marek's disease, may you be wrong. This is the one disease I fear the most.

There are alot of people on this forum with the evil silkie bird addiction. I am sure they will be able to help you. I am simply not up on this neck thing all that much.

Good Luck.
