My daughter aged 20 something says she is OK with us keeping chickens as long as she can call one of them Dave! I pointed out that they would all be girls and she said "So ?" Question is, do you think the poor girl (chook that is) will be at all traumatised if she gets a boys name

I have one called Alex and she is a girl. She will just be the odd one out she can be the special one. She will never now shes a hen if you dont tell her. She just will be a rooster that can lay it eggs. She/He will be the talk of the coop.

Let you in on a secret.... the bird won't care. Ours are collectivly named Coco & Vin, they not only don't care, they lack an appericiation for Mr. Saddi's wit.

Alex is a boys name but Alexzandria is a girls mane. You understand where im coming from.

I dont think it matters. LOL, the names my children gave pets over the years never affected the pets. Though it might have confused other people....

I have Matlda 4months and Istill dont know if shes
