So I've wanted ducks for some time but don't have the space for them right now, one day I went out into the yard to feed the koi. The girls (my hens) ran up to me and followed thinking they were going to get some of the food meant for the fish. A few tosses of food in the pond and I was done so I went in, after coming back outside to check on everyone after hearing some noise I came to find one of my girls in the pond, she wasn't trying to get out and wasn't chased into it she was up to her feathers trying to get the koi food. I still don't know when she started it but she does it every time there's food in the water. Excuse the green water been a rough summer dealing with it but the fish couldn't care less.

Some of my others will try it too though Duck is the only one to go that far. Its really funny seeing how far she'll go, she's been up to her belly at times.

She'd be great at raising ducklings. Most chicken hens go nuts when their foster ducklings go into the water.

Very cool, I have a chicken named Turkey and a Turkey named Chicken, I also have a rabbit named Goat, I confuse people when I use their names, they are like "wait, that's not a turkey," they probably think I am crazy.
