A Clean Coop

I use pine shavings and DE for my coop. I throw on my mask and gloves every morning when I wake up the girls. I boot them outside and I clean the coop fully by scooping it out. I don't have my poop boards made yet. I will use left over vinyl for the poop boards, it needs to be cut. It's over 100 right now and it's way too hot out to cut. I visit my girls several times a day and I will spot clean the poop each time. I throw the poo into a plastic bag and set it aside until I'm ready to dump the contents into the compost pile. I rake and wash the run 1-2 times a week. I scoop up the poop daily outside where they lay. I like to keep it clean as possible since the coop is inside our garage and the run is along side our house.
