A contest for the duds!

This is Goldie, 3.5 years old. She has never laid an egg. She has squatted for me since she was a couple months old. She still goes to the nesting box and goofs off for an hour or so, and comes out singing! I don't think she realizes that the other chickens are actually doing something when they are in the nest!

My second dud, Wellie. Although I am still holding out hope that she is not a permanent dud like Goldie. She is 31 weeks old. No squatting, no interest in the nesting box...she LOOKS like she is close doesn't she?

I have a silkie that doesn't want to drop one. Still waiting. Of course there is some debate that she may be a he.
But its ok, we still love him and he can use whatever bathroom he/she wants. (Joke)

She's a pretty welsummer.
I have 2
One isn't laying because she's molting.
The other one is down to every other day.
I hope she doesn't make you wait til spring!!!!!

I wish! She's looked just like this for 3 or 4 weeks now - long enough so that I have stopped getting my hopes up when I check the nesting box!
